Keket et al vs the Mummy

Team A: Keket, Raynar, Kekat.

Team B: 3 mummies.

Surprise: perception checks to notice mummies: 18 (keket), 7 (kekat), 18 (raynar). No surprise.

Round 1

Keket

Keket casts Power Word: Shield, gaining Absorb 100% (limit 21), with reflection.

She then casts Searing Light on Mummy A: natural 1! She misses the mummy!

Mummy A

Mummy A acts! He is terrified of Kekat, and leery of Keket's holy symbol, so he attacks Raynar, natch.

Mummy A uses dreadful glare against Raynar, but Raynar saves with a 15, so he is not frightened.

Mummy A attacks Raynar with rotting fist, hitting a 20! Raynar attempts to Dodge, but fails. The attack inflicts medium bludgeoning damage, plus medium necrotic damage, and a disease. Yikes! Rather than dealing with all that, Raynar casts Shield, but bricks both Arcana rolls (best: 11), and still takes the damage! Unless...

Kekat jumps in to rescue her buddy! Her initiative roll destroys Mummy A's. She attacks at a 13, which is enough to beat the Mummy. Since she has advantage due to the mummy's fear, she inflicts critical damage, upgrading her hit from medium to heavy. She tears the mummy apart! Since it is destroyed, it cannot attack Raynar after all.

Raynar

Raynar shoots his shotgun at Mummy B and C, using Dragon's Breath rounds. Both suffer light fire damage (upgraded to medium due to vulnerability). He also readies a Time Hop in case he is attacked again.

Mummy B

Ablaze, Mummy B nonetheless charges forth, attacking Raynar. Raynar's readied action goes off, and he casts Time Hop on the mummy, sending him into the future 1 round.

Mummy C

Mummy C attempts to attack Raynar, first using Dreadful Glare, to which Raynar is immune (whoops). His rotting fist hits an 11, which does not penetrate Raynar's armor.

Round 2

Top of round: Mummy B

Kekat

Kekat is out for blood! She leaps onto Mummy C, attacking with her claws at an 11. Her damage finishes off the damaged mummy.

Keket

Readies to attack Mummy B.

Raynar

Readies to attack Mummy B.

Mummy B

Reappears from Time Hop.

Raynar's readied action goes off. He shoots the mummy with a shotgun, missing with a 7.

Keket's readed action goes off. She casts Searing Light on the mummy, hitting an 11, and absolutely incinerating the fucker.
